Bar Stool Freja – Black Frame – Ivory Bouclé

The fastest way to soften steel is bouclé, and Freja in Ivory wears a dense, even loop of it. An upholstered Scandinavian bar stool on a thin black frame with a low back, handmade in Sweden, in counter height (66 cm / 26 in), bar height (76 cm / 30 in) or any custom height through Design Your Own.

The contrast carries the whole design. The frame keeps the softness architectural, the loops keep the steel from feeling cold, and the pale seat sits as naturally against oak and stone as it does in an all-white kitchen. Under the bouclé sits cold-cut high-density foam, and the low steel rail is there for your hand when you pull the stool out. Bouclé asks one thing in return, a brush now and then, and gives back a seat people touch before they sit on it.

Every Freja is designed by Alexandra Pettersson, fully welded in one piece from raw Swedish steel and powder coated, upholstered and assembled in our Malmö factory. It arrives fully assembled, carries 200 kg and is covered by our 10-year warranty. Built to be repaired rather than replaced, it has a screw-mounted cushion and spare parts available years after purchase. The 66 cm seat suits counters of 89 to 92 cm, the 76 cm seat suits bars of 99 to 102 cm. Full dimensions are in the dropdown below and stocked finishes ship in 1 to 5 days.
