Velvet changes what a bar stool does with light. Freja in Jade Black velvet keeps the slim welded steel frame and the low back, but the seat catches the room and softens it. Like every Freja it is a minimalist Scandinavian bar stool, handmade in Sweden, in counter height (66 cm / 26 in), bar height (76 cm / 30 in) or any custom height through Design Your Own.

Black on black, and nothing like the leather version. The velvet shifts with the hours, morning grey to evening depth, a small square of texture on a frame drawn in thin black lines. It belongs in rooms that are warm rather than stark, beside a breakfast bar or a dim kitchen island, and the bare low back keeps doing its quiet work: pull the stool out in one motion, slide it back flush.

Like every by Crea original, this Freja is designed by Alexandra Pettersson and fully welded in one piece from raw Swedish steel in our Malmö factory, and it arrives fully assembled. The seat holds 200 kg, the warranty runs ten years, and repair beats replacement here, with a screw-mounted cushion for re-covering and spare parts available long after purchase.
