Outdoor Bar Stool Tora – Black Frame – Oat Cushion

Tora is a minimalist Scandinavian bar stool built for outdoors. One slim line of powder-coated stainless steel travels up from the floor, around the seat and into a low back, and that is the whole stool. Handmade in Sweden for terraces, pool decks and outdoor bars, in counter height (66 cm / 26 in) and bar height (76 cm / 30 in).

The cushion is Sunproof Fontelina olefin in Oat, a pale warm off-white that holds its tone in direct sun. It is 100% solution-dyed olefin at 357 g/m², so the colour runs through the fibre rather than sitting on the surface: weathering fastness of 7 to 8, tested to 1,500 hours of weatherability, 4 to 5 against pool and sea water, water repellency of 80, and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and UV Standard 801. The back sits low on purpose. It is there for your hand, so the stool pulls out in one motion and slides back flush under the counter.

Designed by Alexandra Pettersson and welded in our own factory in Malmö, Tora arrives fully assembled. It is 38 cm wide with a 41 cm seat depth, standing 78.5 cm tall at counter height and 88.5 cm at bar height. The 66 cm seat suits counters of 89 to 92 cm, the 76 cm seat suits bars of 99 to 102 cm. It carries 200 kg, is covered by our 10-year warranty and built to be repaired rather than replaced, with spare parts available long after purchase.
