Outdoor Bar Stool Valter – Black Frame – Oat Cushion

Valter is the outdoor bar stool for people who lean back. Seat and full backrest are upholstered in one continuous gesture over a slim welded stainless steel frame, handmade in Sweden for terraces, pool decks and outdoor bars, in counter height (66 cm / 26 in) and bar height (76 cm / 30 in).

The cushion is Sunproof Fontelina olefin in Oat, a pale warm off-white that holds its tone in direct sun. It is 100% solution-dyed olefin at 357 g/m², so the colour runs through the fibre rather than sitting on the surface: weathering fastness of 7 to 8, tested to 1,500 hours of weatherability, 4 to 5 against pool and sea water, water repellency of 80, and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and UV Standard 801. The full backrest carries your lower back through a long evening outside, and the slim frame still slides back under the counter when it ends.

Designed by Alexandra Pettersson and welded in our own factory in Malmö, Valter arrives fully assembled. It is 44 cm wide with a 37 cm seat depth, standing 92 cm tall at counter height and 102 cm at bar height. The 66 cm seat suits counters of 89 to 92 cm, the 76 cm seat suits bars of 99 to 102 cm. It carries 200 kg, is covered by our 10-year warranty and built to be repaired rather than replaced, with spare parts available long after purchase.
